Personal Experience
One of the most memorable experiences was when I was given the opportunity to visit a client 6 months into working at SIP. Considering it was my first ever client meeting I was quite nervous about the visit; however, I was given plenty of guidance and support by the manager that accompanied me, and I went into the meeting feeling confident. I am happy to be trusted with significant responsibilities at such an early stage of my career and the constant guidance provided at SIP makes my role so much easier.
Work Culture
The office culture at SIP is unmatched. I feel valued and supported and I am grateful to work in a positive work environment that encourages teamwork.
At SIP, a healthy work life balance is always encouraged and enabled. Flexibility is key and this is one of the most appealing aspects of working at SIP. My team is not only supportive of me achieving my professional goals, but my personal ones too. The support I have received and the level of understanding of my colleagues is truly amazing.
TIA Foundations Course
The CTA1 Foundations course is a requirement for all graduates and is one that I would highly recommend. Completing the Tax Foundations course created a smoother transition from simply studying a Tax Law module at university to applying Tax knowledge at work. Further, SIP provides all graduates with study leave and financial assistance for this Course.
Social Club
The Social Club events are probably the best part of working at SIP. From bowling to mini golf to trivia nights, everyone always has a good time. These events provide opportunities to interact with everyone outside of work and helps us all relax and recharge!
Being a part of the SIP Family provides exciting opportunities and the Graduate Accountant Program has exceeded all my expectations! I can confidently say that SIP is a place I look forward to going to work each day and feel fulfilled in my career.
