John joined the firm in October 2019, following a successful career with Deloitte Private, prior to which he was a Partner of the successful GMK Partners team that transitioned to Deloitte Private Melbourne in April 2015.

With over 35 years’ experience in business services, auditing and taxation consulting—including running his own practice—John enjoys strong and loyal client relationships. Central to this is his careful, inclusive working method where clients participate in all processes and decision making, with a clear understanding of chosen courses of action and potential outcomes.

John’s professional client base of SMEs and large corporations spans a range of industries including health professionals, engineers, consultants, lawyers, architects and real estate agents. He has also given back to the community by helping on many boards and committees over the past 25 years.
